66     THE PIER

MESSAGE:  A wave is one with the ocean, indivisible and inseparable from the vast body of water that both contains and comprises it.  In it you’ll find no beginning nor end; each wave flows endlessly, one with its brethren and every molecule of moisture it encompasses.  The entire essence of the sea swells within one wave as it forms, and crashes.  The full potency of the vast, briny depths may be tasted in a single, salty droplet.  

All that the ocean is, the wave is also.  Any wave may natively access the sea’s vitality, its energy or the entire range of its attributes…because the wave is made of seawater.  The ocean is the Divine, the wave your soul, and the droplet is your concept of body.  

When waves become turbulent, notice how they lose translucence.  Dark and muddy churning waters become clear when they settle.  You, too, can seek clarity in stillness.  Look beyond the horizon and drink deeply of fresh sea breezes.  Invite the tide’s arrival.  Does it signify journey’s end when waves ripple toward shore?  Or is it merely a momentary lull in the endless, shifting rhythm of the sea?  All power, all life force, all potency and the limitless potential of Infinite Life are expressed in you, dear traveler.   You’ll discover the most precious pearls at the deepest fathoms.
