Artwork of a young soldier on a green tank with a white star, holding an American flag, on a desert road with nuclear explosion and mushroom cloud in the background, framed with the number 37, the word 'Mobilization', and a Route 66 sign.

37     MOBILIZATION

KEY CONCEPTS:  warfare, battle, victory, triumph, aid to allies, vengeance, overkill, cowardice, alienation, enemies.(Corresponds to Chariot)

MESSAGE:  Attain victory thru action.  When you pull Mobilization, a battle approaches. Can you lend aid to allies in their current effort?  Sometimes the right thing to do is wrong by convention.  How do you choose?  Pick what feels right and go.

Action mobilizes consciousness. Your hands can’t independently decide to steal:  you animate them with your impulses.  One consciousness uses a pair of hands to kill; another folds them in prayers for the enemy.   What is prayer? If you want to pray the right way, shut your mouth and listen with your inner ear. Let go of your defenses if you wish to gain support.  Vain repetition of words doesn’t constitute a successful prayer.  How could a limited individual hope to instruct Infinite Wisdom?  Is there anything unknown to the Divine? Do you believe your desires are more valid than the next guy’s? He’s been praying for his soldiers, same as you. What happens when forces conflict?  Prayers for the opposition realize Oneness.

It’s bad strategy to carry your corpses into battle, but it’s respectful to remember fallen soldiers.  Route 66 took a beating when playing a major role in World War II transport.  It served as a critical military corridor facilitating interstate movement of troops, equipment and supplies.  Ordnance produced in Midwest factories shipped west to support the Pacific theater.  Troops were separated into specialized groups and trained for action.  Kingman Arizona was one such stronghold, where over 35,000 soldiers trained at the 4,000-acre aerial gunnery-training base.  How can you combat lies?  A soldier abiding in the armor of Spirit need not fear alien nor atom bomb. The 442nd Infantry Regiment was the most decorated unit in US military history.  Serving in the European Theatre, the segregated unit was composed almost entirely of Japanese-American soldiers, many of whom had relatives forced into American internment camps located in part along Route 66. Odds are, many of these valiant Americans also had relatives fighting for Japan…who is your enemy, dear traveler?

Has Mobilization rolled in to point out your terror of confrontation?  Don’t curl up in cowardice; conflict arrives to release you from blockages to peace.  Have you tried to deploy in too many directions?  Choose a focus.  Specialization increases earthly efficiency, but to master the illusion of duality we integrate forces, not divide them. A good soldier balances conformity with individuality.  Use your unique skillset to honor the chain of command.  Follow orders from top brass…align with the Divine.  Remember if you fail to dismantle the bomb, it will explode in your own back yard.  There’s no victory in winning even a hundred wars; it lies in making peace with your enemy.
