MESSAGE: This turtle is the original happy camper on America’s Main Street. She never suffers from lost luggage.  She’s at Home everywhere she goes because she carries it not just on her back but in her consciousness…and whether you know it or not, so do you.  Don’t bother lugging five thousand pounds of material possessions in your wake like these vintage RV enthusiasts, dear traveler.  Like friend turtle, your true Home lies snug within your shell. You could seek truth by embarking on a thousand worldly journeys, questing over land or sea.  But there’s no need to go anywhere to find Truth: it’s always here and now. Each external pilgrimage only serves as a reminder to unfold your ultimate destination from your unlimited source within.

Have you cultivated meditation?  Inside each of us exist the keys to omnipotent wisdom. Assume a relaxed pose; focus on your breath. Gently center your awareness in the present moment, returning every time your thoughts roam.  Are you in a rush to speed on to greener pastures?  Open your perception:  rejoice in Divine perfection. You never escape the world of your consciousness; no matter where you travel, there you are.   Sometimes we make a big production out of bidding tear-drenched farewells just to boomerang back Home.  Other times we never said goodbye… but it’s over, nonetheless.
