18     FILL ‘ER UP  

KEY CONCEPTS:  energy, fuel, issues of depletion and replenishment, reclamation, legacy, inheritance, outmoded elements, careers in science and transportation, a “dinosaur”.

MESSAGE:  Looks like you’ve run out of gas.  Your long walk to the station in the blazing sun starts now. Don’t let it further deplete your reserves of enthusiasm; it takes a lot of stamina to keep things humming on life’s highway.  Don’t fret over an empty tank; it happens to everyone sooner or later.  Resolve to stay gassed up and ready to go from now on.  Use your dipstick to check behavior levels.  Are you burning too much energy on frivolous pursuits?  Seven weekly trips to the Tiki Bar juices you up, but it drains momentum.  Will your habits build a positive legacy, or are you leaving a negative one?  Sometimes this card points toward an inheritance rolling your way. We all acquire things from those who came before us; make sure you keep only the gifts of Spirit.  Are you relying on archaic tools?  Don’t throw a rusty wrench in your future;  quash outmoded elements like the crusty dinosaurs they are.    

The typical traveler relies on material substance alone, stalling out when energy drains to exhaustion. He futzes with a million minor details trying to avoid an ugly Breakdown.  He habitually checks gauges in his quest to travel far in life, but he’s using the wrong fuel.  Worldly fuel burns out quickly; the needle plummets fast.   Running on empty gunks up your engine, destroying key cooling and lubrication components…which ends in system failure.  If you don’t pump the right octane now, you’ll end up pumping greenbacks by the thousands into that jalopy.  Shift gears; steer away from anything that doesn’t serve Truth.

The Infinite traveler lets go and lets Spirit take the wheel.  Divine Wisdom provides immeasurably greater maintenance than you.  Have you been burning tires bald speeding over the ego’s ruts?  Is it essential to snap yet another selfie?  Quit lead-footing and click into celestial cruise control… all the blessings rolling your way enrich the miles.  Fill ‘Er Up, dear traveler.  Turn down the tunes; get quiet.  The only fuel you need is a daily dose of inner guidance.
