KEY CONCEPTS:  generosity, charity, wish fulfillment, secret gifts, wonder, joy, benefactor, mentor, older person, possibly the querent.

MESSAGE:  Who doesn’t thrill to spy Santa coming to town?  Get a load of him on the highway in his pickup truck making secret holiday deliveries.  Charity serves endless wish-fulfillment to the needy, and Jolly Jaunt arrives to highlight situations related to giving.  Santa’s hauling bundles of childhood innocence and gift-wrapped munificence in his jaunty old jalopy; he delights in providing bounty for all.  He’s got a zest for giving, and he’s got the right idea.  Kris Kringle doesn’t show off good deeds, rather maintains a stealthy profile making his rounds.; humility doesn’t squash a merry celebration in some funky, festive threads!  There’s nothing wrong with demonstrating Christmas spirit, but one silent night of devoted contribution offers more joy to the world than an entire gaudy season hurling candy at spectators in holiday parades. Are you showing off with your charitable acts?  Do you use them to advertise your own greatness?  You’ve got it backwards, dear traveler.  By giving in secrecy, St. Nick makes room for vast bounty to return to him.  His heart aligned with the Divine, he neither seeks status nor requires praise from humankind.  If you’re feeling poverty’s gnaw in your life, no need to cry nor pout. There’s always something you can share to get stuck energy moving; whatever you give is what you also receive.  Be a jolly old elf and open some quiet streams of generosity.  When you play secret Santa, you’ll gaze in awe at the wonderland your kindness creates.
